SILENTIUM To Master New Album This Month

July 3, 2005

Finnish atmospheric doom metallers SILENTIUM will be mastering their new album in late July at the Finnvox studios in Helsinki. A late 2005 release via Dynamic Arts Records is expected.

SILENTIUM, who recently announced the addition of vocalist Riina Rinkinen and returning drummer Jari Ojala to the group's ranks, released their third album, "Sufferion - Hamartia of Prudence", in 2003 through Spikefarm Records. Produced by NIGHTWISH mainman Tuomas Holopainen, the CD was recorded at Sundicoop Studio in Savonlinna, Finland and featured a guest appearance by former LULLACRY and current SOULGRIND frontwoman Tanja Kemppainen.
